It's even more toxic to perpetuate this nonsense with misinformation and lies. That's how it's very real, whether you believe it or not. So if a women were to say "soy can give me breast cancer" then is she suffering from toxic femininity? Lol the things I read online. No such thing as 'toxic' masculinity. There is masculine and there is feminine. A man is a man and woman a woman. Some men can portray feminine qualities and some woman masculine qualities. But neither is the other and neither is 'toxic'. If toxic masculinity was a real phenomina and not a invention then why how come there is not a official toxic femininity movement? Surely if men and woman are equal as our liberal society loves to remind us 24/7 then surely woman are capable of being 'toxic' through their femininity?

If a woman practices harmful behavior because of perceived femininity of such behavior, but it's bullshit in reality, then yeah, you can call it a toxic femininity. If we can separate some behaviors, describe them, identify them and all of this is a useful tool, then it's as real as any other idea can get real. Do you think that mass, force, atoms, quarks and strings are real things or just useful ideas and descriptions of what's going on? The same with toxic "whatever", only in physics we have a much better control over what's being measured while people make terrible subjects. Maybe you just didn't hear of it? By the way, isn't The Red Pill a toxic femininity movement? With a more catchy name though (02-26-2020, 10:42 AM)Brett Wrote: Surely if men and woman are equal as our liberal society loves to remind us 24/7 then surely woman are capable of being 'toxic' through their femininity?Of course, who denies it? The focus is on masculinity since for a vast majority of civilization there was indeed a patriarchy and mostly men's behaviour on the display. All The Red Pill, MGTOW and MR are the counter reaction and a sign that the pendulum swang too far in the other direction. |
