undertaker. You show the Harvard food plate, not the official US government food plate. The Harvard food plate recommends limiting milk and dairy to one to two servings per day, as opposed to the US government food plate, which recommends dairy three times a day. You create a lot of internet volume to hide the truth, they both recommend dairy.
Your 2010 data is out of date, regarding official US government recommendations eating eggs.
US government recommends eating meat and dairy. Three times a day. The food pyramid died a long time ago.
The study I linked showed eating meat leads to lower obesity. Even eating cured meats posed no health hazard.
Soy is very estrogenic. This may be why your emotional control is out of whack.
Soy is very goitrogenic. Soy reduces thyroid hormone output. Thyroid hormone is necessary to build testosterone. A slowed metabolism leads to obesity. The prevalence of soy and soybean oil in American food is a direct contributor to the the obesity epidemic. Think McDonald's fries. In times of famine, when food is scarce, a slowed metabolism is good. Otherwise it is bad.

o So eating meat but not soy is toxic masculinity? LMFAO. You are truly ridiculous undertaker.

So, first, the protein does not even take one quarter of the plate. What does count as protein?
"All foods made from meat, poultry, seafood, beans and peas, eggs, processed soy products, nuts, and seeds are considered part of the Protein Foods Group."
So, if US guidelines is be all end all for you, you agree that soy products are fine. Good to know

It means that when one value increases, so does the other. Eating meat was positively associated with BMI and waist circumference, which means that the more meat one ate, the higher BMI and waist circumference were.

Also, if this was true then we would see problems with test and obesity among people consuming a lot of soy products. It is not the case. Here is the meta-analysis:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0015028209009662
Excerpt from the abstract:
"No significant effects of soy protein or isoflavone intake on T, SHBG, free T, or FAI were detected regardless of statistical model."
Also also, vegans are basically the only US pop group that has a weight in the healthy BMI range. Pff.

You know, monks really take a liking to eating tofu, which is soy. One reason for this is that monks really hate lust and wants to eliminate all of it. If you want to kill your manhood then just keep eating soy.

Then discussion went into "soy makes your dick fall off" territory, because @Grinch can't discuss like a rational human being.
Having said that, vegan is a way of life and the diet department is just one of many that veganism deals with. There are many others diets that are not moronically soy-phobic. You don't have to be vegan to not to be a afraid of beans, lol.

That said, I think killing animals while it's not necessary is bad and it's better to not to kill them. It's not rocket science. I think that to some extent this fear of soy represented here e.g. by @Grinch is a coping mechanism. He knows it's shitty thing to do so he comes up with moronic excuses even before anyone said a word "vegan", lol. But that's only my guess.

Ahh, my morning laugh from undertaker. If it is not too personal, are you male or female?
If a man eats meat but not soy, is it toxic masculinity? If a woman eats meat but not soy, is it toxic femininity?
If people are concerned with cow farts, are they not also concerned with humans eating beans and farting?
Meat is cleared for consumption, including a review of the data from the Framingham heart study:
https://annals.org/aim/fullarticle/2752327/patterns-red-processed-meat-consumption-risk-cardiometabolic-cancer-outcomes-systematic
Patterns of Red and Processed Meat Consumption and Risk for Cardiometabolic and Cancer Outcomes: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Cohort Studies 19 NOVEMBER 2019
"Eligible studies that followed patients for 2 to 34 years revealed low- to very-low-certainty evidence that dietary patterns lower in red and processed meat intake result in very small or possibly small decreases in all-cause mortality, cancer mortality and incidence, cardiovascular mortality, nonfatal coronary heart disease, fatal and nonfatal myocardial infarction, and type 2 diabetes. For all-cause, cancer, and cardiovascular mortality and incidence of some types of cancer, the total sample included more than 400 000 patients; for other outcomes, total samples included 4000 to more than 300 000 patients."
Conclusion: Eat your bacon and eggs for breakfast every day. The traditional English diet proves to be best. Steak and kidney pie, eat up.
