Dating sucks away all the organic nature of a budding relationship and leads female hypergamy and sexual competition and gives women the "freedom" to make very bad decisions and waste their time and energy, which in turn leads to the male rage we see these days.
You've read my other comments on how I empathize with you.
Women have also gained the "freedom" to pursue careers, so much so that many high ranking positions are occupied by Boomer Generation females. I've worked with quite a few. And I'll say this: of the few people to whom I hold enormous hostility and who makes the worst co-workers or people to manage, they are all women!
But this rage is controlled because I am extremely grateful for my wife, who "traditional" or "old fashioned" (which is a coy way of saying, "normal woman"), my great friends, and family. If it weren't for them, I'd be in very bad shape.
I strongly suspect if you find a normal woman and start a family your rage will dissipate. In healthier times, there were almost no incels or men put through the meat grinder called dating! All of the social institutions that keep society, particularly those that kept men from breaking down, were intact. There were large families, places of worship, a sense of community, small towns, softly arranged marriages, and so on.
Dating is a disaster activity and I plan on having my son avoid it. There are ways to make such avoidance possible.
Legit.
It reminds me of how Bill Gates and Steve Jobs didn't let their kids play with technology so that they can have a normal childhood while the plebs raise their offspring with tablets and YouTube.

Every date I've been on was anxiety inducing and stressful. My body always felt tight and was relieved once I got to leave. Coffee dates are terrible. One of the worst inventions of the modern era. Coffee should only be consumed at home using a good old coffee dripper while doing morning errands at home. Cafes can go grind in hell.
That sounds like Tinder and OKC. I can't even compete on there. I actually do believe that either one has to be male model or a steroid user to even stand a chance on these apps. But unfortunately I also don't feel women want to be approached in real life either. At my university female students seem to be content if not fond with me being far away.
It's not just them either. I get the cold shoulder from almost anyone on campus. And I am guessing it must be me that's the issue. One thought I've considered is I'm sociopathic by nature and I know I have deep hatred that goes as deep as the bones for people here. People might sense it at an unconscious level. It makes sense cause I have a history of a few violent crimes and misconduct when I was a teenager.
I am not seeking companionship with any women. My plan is to get sex whenever possible. I haven't come across any "normal" women. I actually wasn't aware any existed anymore.
I'm glad you will help your son find a better path in finding his companion. I hope that happens for him. In fact, I hope the next generation or perhaps the next of men find a better time in finding women.
Dating certainly existed back in his day, but it probably wasn't as massive and accelerated.
Today, dates don't mean anything. They used to mean a lot more in the past. I have been to more dates than my entire family combined and yet I am the most unsuccessful.
As far as feeling anxious, that's hardly a surprise since you are a male. Males going on a date feel like witnesses about to be cross-examined. The female wants to know why you think you are worthy of her precious attention and behaves like an employer - only requirements. It's not a date. It's a job interview.

Yeah, acceleration is a good way to describe it. Women get to choose so many men that they just don't have enough time for everyone as the women will say. So she's gotta manage her time and speed through the men that are unworthy of even having a spoken word with her.
It's definitely a job interview. I might as well wear a suit and a tie when I go on a date and bring a brief case full of money if I were only rich.

what confuse the hell out of me is I seen unattractive men get dates on tinder and okcuipd and my friend who is like 6/10 get them all the time . they all seem to be from UNI thought does that have anything to do with it
and I only had couple but I been told I am single for my boyish girl looks . my experience with tinder was what nattyornot said .
do UNI student have better chance because they more likely to get more money while I am only packing bag's
also locutus24 I feel you I am very psychotic and threat to burn down girl's car before not going on date with me
I am ok on date when I have them I am sound . I all ways been good at job interview I just play like I am actor . it getting the date is my problem

I'm 39 years old. But I know how it was back in the old day, and from living around other ethnicities for nearly my entire life, I know that many of them do not bother it. Hence why their men have no problem finding a mate! It only takes common sense to see that "liberation", "freedom", and the sexual revolution did not result in men having more access to sex! What it did was cause an abundance of women for top-dog men to choose from while being unable to marry them all, and in turn, ambitious, hypergamous women thinking that "men are dogs" simply because such men can't commit to all the women who want to date up!
Then towards the middle and bottom of the dating totem pole, that is, men with modest means and connections and/or attractiveness, were assed out, and still are in some ways, though many still have managed to marry and form families.
Step outside of yourself and reflect on this statement: "I am not seeking companionship with any women. My plan is to get sex whenever possible."
Does this sound normal or healthy to you? Why do you not want female companionship and only to have women to solely have sex with? I can't predict the future, but I can only see this backfiring on you.
I do not say this in anyway to ridicule you. That is not my aim. But let's face it. If you are some guy admitting people give you the cold shoulder, you are in no position to even expect women bedding you down so easily. If i have it correct, you are attending school on a large campus (I have an idea of which school from the clues provided here, but I will not even mention) in a crowded, diverse city, for a difficult major. Plus you are psychologically complicated and intelligent. Let's get real here: you are likely more suitable to just finding a woman who fits you than to be some guy having sex with an assortment of women.
PS: I don't blame you for hating many people in NYC. What's there to like about them?

PS: I don't blame you for hating many people in NYC. What's there to like about them? The situation sounds kind of hopeless. I would argue I'm in the average category so what the hell can I do? I believe you when you say the rage will go down after finding a women, but the rage itself makes it hard to approach women at all. It's not merely me being unconfident, though that has happened in past. It's just I already hate them and therefore see them as an enemy unworthy of being around. I haven't spoken to one woman out of interest for 8 months. Yep, I counted the months. A long ass time. Being isolated can do strange things to the mind. Paranoia, sociopathic-like thoughts, aggression, and high stress levels. I don't blame anyone but me for this cause I made the choice though the environment did influence me somewhat.
It's Columbia University which you may have guessed. Excellent academics and shitty social opportunities. It's one of the worst schools to do social clubs. Barely any frats or communities. And female students are very stuck up and entitled cause they all come from rich/high status families with business connections. Me? I'm from a rural community and none of my family is college educated. I'm basically a nobody at this school. I tried at first to make friends, but it always back fired. My only outlet for the anger over being a social outcast is to lift weights at home to get the anger out of me. Works some days. Most of the men on campus are skinny white dudes who probably have never even been in a fight. I don't even bother dealing with them as they annoy me.
I'm not sure what kind of woman would fit me or rather me fit her? I'm introverted and not the most charming talker. I'm sorry but I'm not gonna use fake game charm techniques as women are intelligent enough to spot those. I don't keep up to date with the latest fashion, talk shows, reality tv, celebrity gossip, movies, tv series or anything which most hot women love talking about, at least in my experience. I study, play piano, work part time, do BB, eat, shit, sleep and that's about it. That's my life in a nutshell. I'm basically a machine that repeats the same routine each day. I'm not trying to self loath too much. Just state what my life really is.
I read these BS articles from women bloggers who say things like "why introverts are sooo attractive" and it's BS. Most of the attractive women don't want an introverted creep.
NY sucks balls. I've lived here for a few years and I still have not acclimated to this place. It's the aura. I can't explain it. In my apt I feel safe and content as it's a sanctuary, but moment I walk out into streets the aura feels like a grey/gloomy purgatory. I plan on moving out of here once I graduate.
I appreciate your response though. You are wise and know a lot about dating and women. Man I just had deja-vu. I swear I typed this to you before.

I know its easier said than done. But if you stay on this route of isolation it will only do you harm.
May I advise you to try find a group of musicians in your area and try and hookup with them once a week to play together.
You can take the most happy person and if you placed them in an environment such as yours, they would also get depressed. I know I would.
What happens is you become comfortable living in a routine. This routine is easy because naturally human beings seek the path of least resistance. But when something is too easy, or theres no challenge, you become hopeless and depressed.
A man HAS to have a mountain to climb. Its in our DNA. I know playing piano and getting your degree was your mountain, but now I think they have just become part of your ordinary routine that you need to break away from (not drop out of course).
I don't know if what I am saying here is even helpful. But I just know i've been in isolation before and stuck in mundane routines. Through this I gave the chance for fears and phobias to take over. This is never a good place to be in, because you become a slave to them and your room becomes your prison cell. I'll give this some thought. Bear in mind that it's mentally expensive for me to venture out into New York and search for friends or groups. I can't socialize "too much" because it will interfere with finishing school, which is # 1 priority so that I can pay off debts, and get into the job that pays well. Having a permanent career with good income will help with socializing and dating later down the road. I'm sort of sucking it up for now and staying mostly isolated. But I admit it is detrimental on my internal well-being. Chatting with you guys on here in between breaks is helpful and relieves the pain a little.
NY is not a fun place to wander around and many people here are not always welcoming and very cliquish. Not all are and once in a while I'll stumble across a cool guy and maybe a gal. When I first moved here I was more social, but it's stressful on my mental capacities to meet new people.
An update though. There is a new student club I'm attending on Friday after my midterm tomorrow and will be breaking the routine a little bit. I'll let you know how that goes.
Yeah, school and piano still are quite difficult because both have ups and downs on the mountain. I actually will have days where I'm frustrated with school work being demanding. Remember I attend Columbia and it's ranked the 4th best university academic-wise in the world. It's one of the Ivies and in the same league as Harvard so not being 100% engaged with schoolwork is a big no no here and will lead to bad grades quickly. One class we had about 4 readings to do on Buddhism Art History. One reading was 172 pages long with fairly small print that consumed a lot of time. I was like damn!
On the music group! My piano skills are okay, but I don't think I'm good enough to play with more professional folks. If it were guitar or drums I'd give it a go, but most people playing piano and other hard interments here have been doing it since they were a kid. I'll still give this some thought though. I considered learning to sing and there are lots of karaoke social clubs in the city.
Thanks Brett for the wise advice. Oh and I'm going to watch more of those YT videos that discussed world history as it's intriguing. I don't know if it's completely true as I didn't check the narrators academic sources, but it's still cool to watch and makes on think about the hidden parts of early history.

If your curious this is one math class I'm taking here and it's hard but also mathematically interesting.
http://www.math.columbia.edu/~woit/fourier-analysis/
Very demanding class. For one math problem it can take several hours to solve in the book since it's about proving math statements. Math proofs are some of the hardest skills to learn cause they are 100% rigorous. There is only one answer to a math problem. Always! Math has been dubbed the "queen of all sciences" and every field from physics to biochemistry is based on abstract mathematics.

Yes I am interested to see what else he puts out and especially the part two of that video we discussed.
Im trying to get out more for myself. A friend and myself are thinking about getting up early in the morning to go surfing on a weekly basis. I also started going to a weekly group meeting with a friend at someones house.
One of things im finding hard at the moment is my training. Im trying to cut fat by doing intermittent fasting. I started at 87kg at about 20% bf I would imagine. Im about 80kg now and 15 - 17% bf I think. Im trying to get down to 12% bf. Not sure what weight I will be. So its hard to train with the same intensity.
So I guess this is my mountain currently. Yep, have exam in about 50 minutes.
After exam and doing my reading assignments I will check out more of those videos. Even if I don't believe everything he says, he definitely makes good arguments and it's very entertaining and he is opening me up to new ways of seeing history.
Surfing? Wow that takes a little guts to do. I never done it. I went boogie boarding but no where near as hard or thrilling as riding a wave. I've been trying to take a trip to Vermont to learn skiing and maybe snowboarding next winter.
In states we use lbs instead of kg. So you are about 191 lbs. I don't know your height, but if your at least 6 foot (1.82 meters) then that's not too fat of a weight as a natural. I'm 6'1 and about 185. My body fat % is unknown but would definitely cut it down somewhat and get down to 180 or 175.
I think if you cut you may go down to about 170-180 (78-82 kg).

I wouldn't say surfing takes guts. Only if the waves are big. Its just a really great sport.
Yes definitely. I like his narration. Okay I take your word for it.
Finished exam and was kind of hard. I finished a minute before it ended. Whoo thank the universe it's over.
Later tonight I'll watch something else from his channel. So dang tired man. Went to sleep at 3am and got up at 8am and drank like 3 cups of coffee. Need more caffeine to stay conscious today.
Man you lucky you're done with college. This place kills me after a while.

Thats hectic. Even when I was studying for exams I never went to bed late the night before. If I didnt know it by then I figured I never would. But then again I was not at a prestigous university, I just went to a college that was run more like a business.
Im going to a metal concert on Saturday so I need to physically prepare. I took a rest day today and didn't lift any weights. From past experience you need to go with a recovered CNS. My college runs like a business too. It just gets billions of dollars a year in endowment.
Whose playing at the concert? Haha, yeah having no CNS energy left will pretty much lead to collapse at a metal concert. Probably have to take you to emergency room.

Not to mention your neck. No need to train your neck for a while after a metal concert.
The day after you just feel wrecked.
Never heard of them. Hope the music gives you an adrenaline rush like you would get from lifting. Last concert I went to was seeing Muse at Sziget Island near Budapest. So many people from all over Europe there. Women collapsing from alcohol before the show even started.
Haha, neck! You'll be wrecked man. You can't lift for at least two days after this concert.
I watched this video yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0bRfJSpq2M
On globalism. Interesting take on the globalization phenomenon. Again, I don't know if everything he says is true, but he makes a good argument and narrates it well. I'm giving it some thought. I'm glad you gave me some new stuff to watch. I stood away from YT for over a year cause almost every video on their of anything seemed like trash, but this stuff is good and entertaining.
