The idiotic fitness articles thread
#1
I thought it would be funny to have a thread where we post some of the stupidest fitness articles we can find on the internet for all of us to laugh at and ridicule.

I'll start.... T Nation article on the different types of bicep curls that you need to do in order to unlock massive arms. Apparently "you need more than standard curls for big biceps."

The best biceps exercises you are not doing come in a syringe.

On a serious note, all of this is hyper-intellectualized overthinking.

It's funny how they tell you to "keep it simple" and then spam you with exotic movements.

Lol on that note you can basically list every S-nation article ever written. They kinda funny sometimes the authors contradict each other in different articles.

I thought these two were quite funny at the time.

Is Jeff Seid Taking Steroids or is he ... - aretheyonsteroids.com

How to Look Like Zyzz Without Drugs – Acquire Aesthetics! Outalpha.com

Both articles I read a few years ago and both should be read for amusement purposes only. I'm sure the authors weren't being serious, but someone forgot to tell the dreamers in the comment sections.

One thing I always find amazing in articles/videos like that is how enraged some people get that their hero might be taking steroids. I mean Jeff Seid probably couldn't give a fuck about those people, but there they are wishing the people that mention steroids "get cancer" and the like. I mean seriously, even at my most clueless stage I was never that fanatical. I cannot understand that way of thinking at all.

In terms of BS, I think the beauty industry has both these beat by miles.

Check this one out... "How to get as big as Phil Heath." The author acknowledges steroid use, at least, so I suppose this isn't a complete lie:

I wrote a comment in that website, basically saying that if you believe that Jeff Seid, an IFBB Pro, is natural, you must be pretty naive or have an agenda going behind. My comment was not approved. I think the guy from that website is doing that deliberatly. Some guys, he tells us, are not natural (basically scapegoats), while others, like Jeff Seid are natural, he is trying to deceive gullible souls.

The guy behind that site tried to buy nattyornot to sell some form of steroids on it. The offers were rejected, of course. He made this clone site as a result. I think many people on his site are not natural and he knows it.

so he was going to run a site like your asking if this person was natty or not...then offer steroids for sale?

Unbelievable...Glad you didn't sell out. What did he offer?  Confused

Hugh Jackman/ Carvell 100% on steroids for their roles. Sick of this B*S*. Clear as anything.

Look at Jackman. Now he's off the roids he looks very ordinary. Recent movie I say (the Circus) he looked a little flabby...not bad for his age but no-where near Wolverine.

I guess they are in a difficult spot. End of the day kids idolise them and roids are illegal so they cannot tell the truth even if they wanted to.

I guess to look like an out of the world super hero you need an out of the world physique and that is not a natural one.
