Controlling Rage Around Women
#11

I have to go this unfortunate date/mingling event tonight and only doing it to get practice with talking to some new women at a place I've never been. However, I'm already getting paranoid and angry. Anticipating all the terrible things that can happen with women. Oh, and for context this is in NYC, a place where women have the highest standards ever and where competition is really fierce. I'm still in last year of undergrad without any prestigious job or social status and am competing against men who have careers in Wall Street so my odds are not in favor for me.

How do you other guys control your anger so as to feel calm and confident "inside"? I haven't found any ways to do it. I can pretend to look calm and confident on the "outside", but it can't hide all the insecurities from women since they are blessed with that sixth sense of detecting men who are unstable, no matter what the men do to hide it.

I always worry I will get arrested one day when I get pissed by a woman who says or makes some gesture to disrespect me as a man. My therapist just teaches me meditation techniques and they only work maybe 25% of the time. I sometimes resort to calming drugs but then I get all spaced out at the bars/clubs and end up zombiefied in the corner on a couch somewhere.

Dating sucks as all posters on here seem to realize.

DEspise women......that's ridiculous......go and seek help. Get off this forum.

What's up bros.

I have a psychiatrist who I see still. I'm not a fan of therapy and believe most of it is BS, but for the moment things with women are slightly improving.

I appreciate your mild concern though.

What is the Californian blonde chick accent?

Is it when a girl seemingly speaks trough their nose, sounding like a duck?

I'm not a native but this always sounds weird to me, kinda psycho.

Can you give an example on Youtube or so?

BTW, in your opinion, what's the most attractive English accent for a girl?

I was curious where you live? You're not from States right? Europe?
They're not all exactly identical, but just very high-pitched in voice. It's not even really California accent, but rather derived from the area. Each part of the US such as the Southern States, New England, and New Jersey/New York all had fairly distinct local accents a few decades ago. Mostly basing it on how older people talk (as in 40 or over). On the younger people sound similar to Hollywood actors/actresses in terms of accent. It seems like local accents have been replaced by this more generic accent. I find it annoying cause of not only the accent, but the certain use of phrases.
Women who seem like a Cali chick will say "um.. yeah" quite a bit. I briefly lived in a shared house that had 7 people, 3 who were women associated with sororities (non-residential ones) and they had similar high pitched voices (like the duck you mentioned) and said "um... yeah," "oh my god [insert some phrase]" and other bad English at least to me. Seemed like they were euphoric most of time in an annoying way, which makes sense given their privileges these days.
Southern young girl accent. A good example is Reese Witherspoon (not sure if she is southern) in the film Mud. Or you can watch Forrest Gump and listen to clips of Jennie. I also enjoy the Boston accent which is notable for being more fast spoken, but I'm speaking of any person from Boston. In other words, people there are blunt and get straight to the point and normally don't consider your feelings when talking about things bluntly. For instance, I dined with a family from Boston. One guy on left said "pass the salad" with his hand out in an almost demanding way. I wasn't offended. They're just straight shooters in conversations.

To me, Sarah Silverman comes to mind as a prototype for that low, duck-like voice coming from a stuffy nose (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnoirtJoR2I).

She also sounds lovely in person (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gADATHkFkk). Proper pitch for a girl (not so low, which I find annoying).

Dating does suck. Which is exactly why in the old days no one did it. It's also why rich communities' children generally don't do it and why some ethnic groups in America still don't bother with it.

Dating sucks away all the organic nature of a budding relationship and leads female hypergamy and sexual competition and gives women the "freedom" to make very bad decisions and waste their time and energy, which in turn leads to the male rage we see these days.

You've read my other comments on how I empathize with you.

Women have also gained the "freedom" to pursue careers, so much so that many high ranking positions are occupied by Boomer Generation females. I've worked with quite a few. And I'll say this: of the few people to whom I hold enormous hostility and who makes the worst co-workers or people to manage, they are all women!

But this rage is controlled because I am extremely grateful for my wife, who "traditional" or "old fashioned" (which is a coy way of saying, "normal woman"), my great friends, and family. If it weren't for them, I'd be in very bad shape.

I strongly suspect if you find a normal woman and start a family your rage will dissipate. In healthier times, there were almost no incels or men put through the meat grinder called dating! All of the social institutions that keep society, particularly those that kept men from breaking down, were intact. There were large families, places of worship, a sense of community, small towns, softly arranged marriages, and so on.

Dating is a disaster activity and I plan on having my son avoid it. There are ways to make such avoidance possible.

Actually I wasn't aware that the name dating didn't exist back in your time. Was it just called courting?

Every date I've been on was anxiety inducing and stressful. My body always felt tight and was relieved once I got to leave. Coffee dates are terrible. One of the worst inventions of the modern era. Coffee should only be consumed at home using a good old coffee dripper while doing morning errands at home. Cafes can go grind in hell.

That sounds like Tinder and OKC. I can't even compete on there. I actually do believe that either one has to be male model or a steroid user to even stand a chance on these apps. But unfortunately I also don't feel women want to be approached in real life either. At my university female students seem to be content if not fond with me being far away.

It's not just them either. I get the cold shoulder from almost anyone on campus. And I am guessing it must be me that's the issue. One thought I've considered is I'm sociopathic by nature and I know I have deep hatred that goes as deep as the bones for people here. People might sense it at an unconscious level. It makes sense cause I have a history of a few violent crimes and misconduct when I was a teenager.

I am not seeking companionship with any women. My plan is to get sex whenever possible. I haven't come across any "normal" women. I actually wasn't aware any existed anymore.

I'm glad you will help your son find a better path in finding his companion. I hope that happens for him. In fact, I hope the next generation or perhaps the next of men find a better time in finding women.
