Weighted Dips/ Pull-ups with backpack

Hi guys, whatbdo you think about doing dips and pull ups with weights in backpack?  light weighta and medium weights.

A chain belt is better since it does not restrict the movement of the upper body. You can make one yourself with materials bought from a hardware store. This is what I used during the years when my focus was on weighted dips and pull-ups.

Concerning the dips: eventually you will go heavier, thereby shifting your center of mass above the rotational axis through your hands. That rarely leads to any good except for a nice gym fail ...

Just use a weight chain/rope carried low (i.e., on your hips not on your lumbar spine).
