I see, im used to no matches, ghosting, flaking, one way effort, but this phenomenon of unmatching immediately before any talking surprised even me. Either their whim shifts in literally seconds, even faster than the wind, or all they needed was the "match" visual for their dopamine validation hit.
I believe any morals they claim to have are fake until proven otherwise. For example, the woman who treated me the worst in my dating history - like a piece of dirt on her shoe - said that "respect is a big thing for her". It's just words that they like to imagine about themselves.
By the way i did my first cold approach in years a few days ago. I want to keep doing it not because i expect to find a woman but because it means in 10 years, you can think to yourself that at least you tried, instead of feeling regret, guilt and anger that you didnt at least confirm whether it worked or not. I think that for you, at least you have arrived closer to such a stage.
