Bumble Opinions?

I had some dude recommend Bumble to meet women online, but haven't done it as I think it's a waste of time and effort. 

I found a recent reddit discussion where some guy supposably met a "model who has 3 degrees" and they are getting engaged. It was posted 9 months ago.

This can't be right. It's like more than too good to be true. It's "wayyy too good to be true." 

Has anyone used this app? If so how does it "really" compare to Tinder? What is the reality of this app which came from a group of female app designers?

Never used it. But it says that women message first. In other words, they receive even more power. As if men weren't worthless enough online.

That story about the model female with 3 degrees is like winning the lottery twice in the same day. Never gonna happen.

Give it a shot, what do you have to lose. You have already tried tinder right, so trying bumble won't damn your soul to eternal grief anymore than tinder would.

I think the principal of bumble is clever. If a girl is truly interested then she will message you, unlike tinder where after you message your match she ghosts you. Ghosting will probably still happen on Bumble but not as much as on tinder I would assume.

Hmmm, I guess that's a good point. Hey instead of a BB log, I'll make a Bumble log on here. Keep everyone up to date on the progress or failure.

True or not, any man that says "I can't believe how lucky I am" when referring to a female in courtship, is probably not going to have such female for very long. 

Men need to start developing some self respect. With that as your mindset, your thoughts dictate your actions.

The statement "I can't believe how lucky I am" probably implies that he had little confidence in obtaining that woman before they got together. Maybe he used faked confidence and tried to not seem insecure which may have worked at first, but as the relationship progresses the woman will start to detect his insecurities/lack of confidence and will eventually dump him. 

Or he exaggerated and that the woman he married may not be a model (or looks like one) and that part is made up. Or he just lied completely and is a troll. Or he/she is a Bumble employee trying to get men to use Bumble and pay. 

In all cases, this dream of being married to a model and living happily ever after is not or will not happen.

They select you... lolol. To me it’s them basically saying they will fuck your and are willing to make the initial move required to move in that direction. Just swipe everyone and filter out the matches after. The standard tends to be higher as in not as trashy as tinder, they have a higher IQ on there imo but they’re all still easy to bed. Bumbles just require a bit more conversation.

As for the guy OP mentioned. What kind of model has 3 degrees? I call bs and so what if she has 3 degrees? Amazing if she’s made a load of money off the back of those claimed achievements and is paying her way or even better sharing it with him. What I wonder is Does she have house keeping skills? Is she loyal? can she raise a child? Has she been plowed by dozens of chads and Tyrone’s? He’s a chump getting married in this day and age no matter what.

So how is Bumble going?

I signed up. Nothing happening so far. Put three pics with me in three different locations and would say are the best pics since a friend took them. 

Reddit forums speak somewhat highly of this app, but I have no idea whether people on their are lying or not. I have doubts this app is anything good.

Don't feel bad a friend of mine started using it at about the same time as you. He told me  he deleted it because no women were messaging him. I can only imagine a small percentile of men get all the messages while the rest fight over the scraps.

I have a lot of success and getting women on there these days is no different to ordering papa johns. Just got to know the formula, both tinder and bumble are used slightly different for max success.
