I will stop doing calf raises for a while
#1
I'm lifting for 18 years already and don't expect my calves starting not to suck by now. And in my gym is pretty anoying to do calves since i have to set up a step with weights on top of it so it doesn't tip over.

I'll just do jump rope and see what happens, which is probably nothing...

I agree. Training calves for growth is a total waste of time.

My Mom and dad both have amazing calves. They never train them besides walking.

When an IFBB pro like Wolf struggles with calves, you know that even "cell tech" cannot help.

^ Do you have a source for that?

"Shawn Ray challenged IFBB head honcho Wayne DeMilia to investigate Flex Wheeler for calf implants, as his calves had dramatically improved over the past two years from mediocre to excellent. An MRI showed that whatever Flex had done to his calves, it wasn't implants. Arnold Schwarzenegger is another famous bodybuilder that has been accused of having them,"

You are right. Found the interview, he was just joking about it:

Probably it was syntol or some other kind of oil, since he also used for his arms and recently had complications that led to amputing his leg.

^ Oh God. I didn't know that.

I found this in a GoFundMe set up for his medical bills.

"SURGERY TO AMPUTATE HIS LOWER LEG.
AFTER NEARLY A YEAR AND MULTIPLE SURGERIES ATTEMPTING TO SAVE HIS LEG FROM RECURRING BLOOD CLOTS CAUSED BY A DETERIORATION OF A 15 YEAR OLD VEIN GRAFT FROM KIDNEY SURGERY

Dennis James Starts GoFundMe for Flex Wheeler for Astronomical Medical Bills

^^ Sarcasm doesn't work in text.

Some interesting quotes from the article

"There’s nothing you can do to look like me"

"I represent Weider and use all Weider products, including creatine. They’re paying me to use it. Besides, Joe’s been around for a while, so you’ve got to figure he knows a lot"

"my arms went ... to 23-1/2 inches and my thighs ... to 32-1/2 inches"

Larry wheels is on so much juice it’s oozing from his ears. He’s insanely strong as fuck and can squat and bench 900+ on any given day and benches over 700. Awesome genetics, roids, and lives in the gym and can’t grow calves. It’s a waste of time! Regular running trains my calves plenty.
