Labeling/Shaming is a powerful weapon.

By putting individuals into a group with a label on it, you can isolate them from the rest of the "normal" people, like a sick patient put into quarantine. Now, if only one member of such a made-up group acts despicably (note, you decide who's in that group ...), you can blame anybody within that group thereby destroying their legitimate requests.

Incels are such a group.

That method has worked for ages (people opposing communist regimes were called fascists, people opposing mass flooding of Europe with "refugees" are deemed nazis, people opposing female privilege (a.k.a. feminism) are called misogynists, ...) but with the advent of social media it has been brought to perfection.

The fundamental argumentative flaw behind all that nonsense is essentially: You are not for A then you must be for the opposite of A. Since A is something supposedly good, you must be bad, right? But life is not just 'true' or 'false'. It's a spectrum, so not A is not the opposite of A but the rest of that spectrum.

A term usually used by libtards to try and shame any male who is not an avid supporter of extreme feminism.

Agree with Brett. But it is hard to ignore the terms when they become part of our culture.

I remember being incel at 19. Lost my virginity at 20 and spent my teen years desperate for sex just so I could say I had 'done it'. Now at 36, having been married, seperated, and have a son. My shittest 'incel' days were when I was married. We are programmed to believe that once we achieve the great accomplishment of bedding a goddess (in your mind) we will become adonis incarnate. We don't. We get bored soon after and become 'incel' again.

Sex is such a minor part of life. The lack of it is a first world problem, but it can make you feel suicidal if you let it... Don't let it.

It's because of the Isla Vista killings that put incel on the radar. I never even heard about it prior to that, but got a shit load of FB posts on it by several women and some men. It only takes "one" to stereotype any group of people as "exactly alike" who may share "some" similarities, but the reality is we're not all copies of one another. I'd say vague stereotypes exist, but not complete stereotypes.

I did read some subreddits with incel in the titles. One trait that kept coming up was introversion or extreme introversion. I can relate as I'm more introverted than extroverted. At moment I'm friendless, but in past I've had some quick friendships that came and went like flies. Last close friend I had was about 3 years ago and we no longer speak to one another.

And I will admit that introversion does not always help in life. It can backfire when it comes to anything social. I hear a lot of men and women applaud introversion (inspiration porn) and while it does have some good qualities, overall I'd say it's better to be somewhat more extroverted than introverted. It's all about marketing yourself whether for a job or date. Hence, there is probably a connection being made between "quiet introverts" and "incel psychopaths." Great! :/

I like my own space so I can think and do art . But love to social I just like to be in control and hang out with people I love . If not I don’t waste my time. I like to do other things than drink.
