lifting should be about 2% of your life...1 hour a week maximum and done. Like bathing or brushing your teeth. Something you should do but don't obsess about it. Do it..forget about it.

^ I believe the claim that 'you have to consume protein every three hours to prevent your body going into a catabolic state' was specifically developed for this. It meant to succeed, it couldn't just be something you could do for a few hours a week and then forget about, it was something you had to continually obsess over. (Even as a naïve teenager, I ended up suspecting this.)
