Is there any particular reason why you sleep during the day? Night shifts? Vacation?

When I have insomnia, the best cure for me is to get physically tired during the day and avoid naps. Staying in front of the PC until late does not work nearly as well because the blue light keeps you alert.

You may consider doing a high volume routine or extended cardio (preferably outside) just for that reason.

Thank you for the support. You are one of the first two members of this forum.

I appreciate it.

Another option that is equally viable is physical labor. It works even better than training. Splitting wood, working on your car, cleaning the house...etc. are all tasks that will fatigue you.

I forgot to mention that out of all the exercises, heavy deadlifts seem to drain your system them most.
