Double Bodyweight Squat
#1
Is a double bodyweight squat a realistic 1RM target for a natural? I've seen this benchmark mentioned several times as a way to maximise standing jump, but it seems fairly ambitious to me. My PR is around 1.65BW for 5 reps, although I haven't maxed out on squats in a long time.

Should definitely be achievable.

My kid is 19 5’10” 180lbs. Never touched a needle or any kind of steroid. Can Front squat 315 3 times and benches 315 twice. He looks like he lifts but you wouldn’t think he could bench that unless you saw it. Bragging on him a little. Yes. But the point is some people are just strong af naturally. Not every stronger than normal person is on drugs. Noted I’ve never hit those numbers and I’ve lifted for 25 years pretty seriously.

I don't know about the jump thing, I am not into that, but nothing unrealistic about 2xBW squat. And you are actually pretty close, 1.65 for five, I think you are almost there.
