People fascination about useless creatine
#1
I still don't get it people fascination about creatine
Are they that much stupid and retarded?
It's literary useless piece of shit - according to some science studies that I read strength increase is 10% at BEST which is a laughable - besides that, many people also have ZERO strength increase from creatine
Not to mention risk of kindey damage to some people - my friend got cysts on kidneys from creatine consuption

Well apparently it’s one of the few supplements that has research showing measurable benefit.

You don’t need to supplement it if you eat enough red meat.

Probably not worth taking anyway, though.

From the abundance of research out there and anecdotal experience it does increase strength.
Its true that some people don't get any effect whats so ever from creatine. I have no doubt that a small amount of peoples kidneys or liver can't manage it.

For those that do get a positive effect from it though (the majoirity) -
A 10% increase is 10% increase and its a 10% increase of strength that would otherwise not be there - overload. I personally see creatine as a spotter there for the extra rep or added 2.5kg that you wouldn't other wise get.

An added bonus for me personally is aesthetically it pumps up the muscle.

Another bonus is that the pump is easier to achieve during training which feels great.

It adds more volume to my spunk for an impressivly larger load... which doesn't really improve life but is pretty primitivly satisfying.

Its also meant to be a nootropic and improves brain function.

Monohydrate is very cheap, is as good (and often proven to be better) as all the versions that keep appearing.
It far from being some super soldier serum but Its very cheap and has benefit for most people.

I dunno if research are real and practical use. I eat them anyway, mainly because Its damn cheap, like 20 cents per day (3-5 grams a day).

Even its useless for some because they are no responder, its still super extremely cheap... almost like drinking water. Just creatine added.

Another point, if its proved to be a little performance boost like 3 or 5 or 7 or even claime 10% increased, I don't see why hurts.

People who had kidney problems from creatine used to take stupid amounts of it. Like 4-5 gr. from some kind of lame ganer + 4-5 gr. from preworkout supplement + 1-2 scoops creatine. In total they take 15-20 gr. per day, which ofc leads to health problems. I don't see the point to take more than, as Altimis said, 3-5 gr. day.

Anyway I have like 2 lbs of creatine, but I forget to take it half of the time. Even if I take it every day honestly I am not noticing any strength or endurance boost, except bigger pump after workout.

Yes, people are that stupid. The fact that creatine is NOT a banned substance on any PED list, should tell anyone with half a brain it is useless.

bull-SHIT. It is considered a "gray area" supplement, and its one of the most researched ones and proven to actually have ergogenic benefits.  The only reason it is not banned is because it does not alter your hormonal profile or cause some sort of damage in your body (as opposed to drugs, like anabolics, thyroid hormones, hgh etc). Also i cant help but wonder why anyone of you would laugh at the 10% increase you get in strength/size. 10% is still 10%. Assuming your 1RM in squat is 100kg, that 10% translates to 110kg 1rm. Will that make a difference?  In competitive strength sports, any kind of strength increase is always welcome. That 10% can mean the difference between getting a medal or not .

If you dont compete, then you wont really see much from creatine use, or any kind of supplement use. Why? Because you have no way to measure your progress. How do you know you make progress? It does not matter, because you dont compete .
Can creatine help you compete against steroid users? Ofc not. They use exogenous hormones that alter their bodys chemistry. Can it help you compete against people who are completely clean ? (no steroids, no supps) - yes it does and can make a difference. In my experience, it can even help you compete against light steroid users because their dosage is smaller (smaller dosages dont promote huge muscle growth)

What kind of a reasoning is that? Do you think that coffee also doesn't work cause it's not banned? Cool

Caffine is a stimulant and does work. It is banned in concentrations higher than you could get from drinking coffee.

Last time I checked I could buy as much caffeine as I want, powder form or in capsules. It may be prohibited in some sports (archery comes to mind) in some federations, but clearly it's not banned by any means.
