5-day fasting

Five (5) days of NO food & NO water. My experience.

I decided to try a hard fast (without food & water) for 5 days. It was less difficult than i originally thought.

The first 2 days i went to work (8-hours office job). However, the next 3 days, i stayed mostly indoors (i asked my wife & kids not to annoy me. I told them "you will behave as if i am not here, ok??")

I didn't feel any of symptoms that many people think would happen (energy loss, fainting, dizziness etc). On the contrary, i had mental/brain clarity and a general relaxation.

Indeed, some days i went for walking at a park (about 2-2.5 hrs walking). There, my friend was asking me if i was feeling tired/hungry/thirsty. I answered "no".

The hardest part was when i felt strongly the thirst. This happened mainly on the 3rd-4th day. I decided to put some water in my mouth and not drink it. This is a good tactic to alleviate the feeling of thirst (of course, a little water went down in the stomach)

In the end,it was a great experience that i will definitely repeat.
