Christian Thibaudeau on volume and cortisol - Nattybro87 - 11-04-2019

This seem legit? Basically he says high volume benefits enhanced lifters, but bad for natties. Low volume works best for naturals, because high volume can cause risk of cortisol.

All of this on cortisol is super confusing.

Paralysis by analysis.

Though they may not be wrong, a natty will always look natty.

High vol or low vol your testosterone levels are not going to rise to any significant degree anyway.

I dunno, man. Testosterone is so confusing. Literally feels like I have to take classes to fully understand how testosterone works, like enzymes, 5AR, DHT, estradiol, blah, blah, blah.

I read somewhere that being overweight can lower testosterone. Sitting down in front of computer in the office all day can also lower test. That’s what I read in some articles and comments.

Can’t workout longer than 90 minutes, otherwise, cortisol will show up is what I learned. Since I worked out for almost 20 weeks under 30 min each workout day, my muscle size has been consistently growing. Never seen growth that fast. When I worked out 3 hours a day in my early 20’s, my muscle growth and strength were very slow in comparison.

I believe cortisol is temporary. Just gotta take a break from the gym for at least a month, then go back to square one IF you’re not seeing any slight growth in strength and size. Working out a specific way can make a huge difference, honestly.
