  MAN WHO IS HE?
Posted by: Plato - 04-15-2021, 04:39 PM - Forum: Love & relationships... - Replies (1)

“A man can be happy with any woman as long as he does not love her.”

― Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray

“The heart of man is very much like the sea, it has its storms, it has its tides and in its depths it has its pearls too”

― Vincent van Gogh, The Letters of Vincent van Gogh

“But it is the same with man as with the tree. The more he seeks to rise into the height and light, the more vigorously do his roots struggle earthword, downword, into the dark, the deep - into evil.”

― Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spoke Zarathustra

“Man serves the interests of no creature except himself.”

― George Orwell, Animal Farm

“He wears a mask, and his face grows to fit it.”

― George Orwell, Shooting an Elephant

I know longer get foods in supermarkets.
Posted by: Plato - 03-13-2021, 02:41 PM - Forum: Personal growth - Replies (3)

I rarely get food in supermarkets. I get all my food from organic delivery, all items sent can be recycled. Wish I did this sooner. All the foods taste amazing!!! I still go to the local shops and the butcher if I can. The meat is rotten in supermarkets, the veg's are rotten, it's not worth the money. I know whatever I do, I'll never be 100% pure, but at least I try.

  A true break up
Posted by: Plato - 03-08-2021, 01:47 PM - Forum: Love & relationships... - Replies (4)

I broke up with my girlfriend. At first it was painful, but I notice, When you break up and didn't have the talk about why and what happened it can lead you lost. Once we had the talk in a sense,we agreed we both love each other, but it was not meant to be. Still miss her, but I also feel sense of spiritual acceptan-ces. I respect her decision to leave, because she might end up hurting me which I respect. However, once someone leaves me; I'll never accept them back.

First time I have ever had a good end of a relationship. I guess, maybe people just dump or broke up quite aggressively. In the past people have done it. But they have done it in horrible ways. Now I know that real relationship can end even on good terms. Besides relationship  is just an adventure, unless you get married or made an oath then that's a different story.

So many greats but I always go back to this one:

https://nattyornot.com/the-art-of-traini...al-effort/

I am 40 and have been all over the place training wise. Besides a few college years I’ve been lifting weights for 25+ years. Bodybuilding, powerlifting, CrossFit, all of it. I reached my genetic potential mid 20’s, but forever chased the dream. Everything past that has been just workout jerking off I swear. Article is spot on! Chasing that last 10% of your natural potential is such a slippery and dreadful slope.

Can I achieve maximum natty leg potential while only doing Dumbbell Bulgarian Split Squats and Leg Presses?
I can't do squats and deadlifts due to back issues.

Greg Doucette - natty and winning shows until he got 30+?

Greg Doucette has a channel that is blowing up. He of course isn't natty but back when he was in his 20s he claims full natty status while breaking FFMI records (5'6 @ 160+ pounds back then and he has FFMI of 25+ At his height he needs to be only 149 pounds to pass FFMI)?

at 179 pounds and claims natty

Bodybuilding is all about genetics and there are a few men who can shatter natural records but what do you think?

My chiropractor told me to avoid overhead pressing and handstand pushups due to nagging pain on my shoulders.

What are the alternatives?

I imagine that i if he decided to cut to a true 10% (on a DEXA), all those 19lbs of "lean mass" (water, blood volume) would vanish and he'd probably weigh in close to ~180-190. I'm 6'2" as well and hit 10% at 180lbs.
