Me?

1. I can chat to people. (you can use many other methods to chat)

2. I can talk to people who have liked the page of the site (my major benefit).

I have gotten 1 (one) date from Facebook.

For me, Facebook amounts mostly to the experience of seeing how happy other people are.
For me the benefits of facebook are overwhelming:

I get to see how happy everyone else is and how they are accomplishing all their dreams and goals.

I get to talk to people that I otherwise would not still be talking too so facebook has kept all my true friendships alive.

I get to like other peoples profile pics and uploads and let them know how hard I am trying to be liked by them.

I get to comment under the pictures of certain woman and tell them how amazingly beautiful they are and that any man would be lucky to have them.

I get to take motivational gym pics and share them with others that need inspiration.

I get to read motivational memes that have honestly changed my life.

I get to read up about how feminism has saved the world and how women are still being oppressed by evil white men.

I get educated through memes that being fat is just as beautiful as being lean and that telling women they are fat is very rude.

I get informed as to what is hatespeech, homophobic, transphobic, islamaphobe, racist etc. This way I can keep up to date with what I can and can't say.

I get to see first hand how cool and trendy it is to be in a interracional relationship.

I also get the special priveledge of bashing christianity and getting 0 repercussions. This really brings out the rebel in me.

So as you can see the benefits are really endless. Don't know where I would be without facebook in my life.
I can call my friend from France
Nothing. My smartphone broke down and i didn't have one for 4-5 months. What happened? Nothing. Note: i don't have laptop either
When I think about it I spent countless hours and waste years of my life on that shit literally for nothing
I was addicted but nowadays I spent like 10min a day on FB
It's poison, makes you depressive and drains your energy when you looking for people profiles who seemingly have better life than yours (but it's all lie)
Newsfeed is endless cycle of garbage and time waste with maybe 10% of good articles, not to mention spaming of sponsored ads
Only good thing that I think of is chat to stay in contact with people, and a few groups that I follow for job ads and some other info

The human brain was never designed to process so much information. Which is why our attention spans are destroyed.

Those people that have a better life than you may actually have it. I am not gonna pretend that it's all fake. I have seen many people who look genuinely happier than me. I know they are.

Somewhat ironically, the more you look at their happiness, the further away you get from yours. That stuff does not motivate, it immobilizes you.

Spending 10 minutes a day is actually a good strategy. Because it gives you a dose but is too low to be detrimental to your daily routine.

most people lie and brag if people are having better life's tbh they might have better life but everyone is alone and sad deep down . everyone is in there own cell .
I have an e business so I use Facebook and IG to market my products. Other than that I rarely if not never scroll through my Facebook fee. Even my IG.
I see it as a waste of time scrolling through the lives of people I don't care about
There is a subtle & noticeable difference:

It's ONE thing to spread my thoughts - opinions here&there Anonymously on the Internet and ANOTHER thing to display them Officially (and Responsibly) on a site to which I have signed my (electronic) participation contract… after clicking 'I Accept', I am automatically subject to the terms of this electronic contract that was proposed to me as a 'one-way street' in order to "acquire" the specific online sector that will host the views - both my own and those of my visitors.

In the first case, they REALLY collect my personal data WITHOUT my explicit consent that they originate from me and then become their property (see Google Inc.'s Blogger, the Facebook page of the gambler Zuckerberg who considers FB members "dumb fucks") literally=> Zuckerberg: I have over 4,000 emails, photos, addresses, SNS

- What? How could you handle all this?

Zuckerberg: People submit them. I do not know why. They "trust" me. Dumb Fucks]]
… And so many others…)….

...while in the 2nd case I am the one (reckless or fearless) who gives them ("for every use", as they demand in their contract that I accept…) every right in my publications - and in fact, LEGALLY…
I mostly only use it anymore to talk to strangers about comic books, Star Wars toys, and fitness. And I don't do the latter much anymore because all FB fitness groups are pretty much overrun with fake nattys or guys on "just enough TRT to get me up to my natural levels."
