My chiropractor told me to avoid overhead pressing and handstand pushups due to nagging pain on my shoulders.

What are the alternatives?
Vince Gironda said overhead presses weren't necessary to develop the shoulders. Try wide grip dumbbell upright rows to hit the side head.
Any press will develop the front head and back rows will hit the rear head.
