Recommended daily calories
#11
I cut on: 1500-1600
maintenance: 2000-2100
bulk 2400-2500
I don't move a lot except going to the gym and sometimes walking around with friends.
177 cm, 78 kg.

tried the youtube natties 3500 kcal bulk before 2-3 years, got fat as pig, cutted and in the end after 6 months i looked almost about the same. Due to these youtube natties calorie and protein consumption is highly exaggerated.

When I walk down in the business district of NY I see lots of men like like. Guy in suit at 5'8-5'10 (taller guys seem to be a healthier weight) and a roundish mid section that even the tight suit can't hide.

Basically, this means that to maintain these overweight amounts requires a higher average daily intake. So maybe the world's top nutritionists have taken a statistical average on the male weight (which is overweight) and than based the calorie intake equation on that. Or perhaps these numbers are based on strength athletes who used steroids, but steroids is forgiving when it comes to eating excess calories, whereas a natural it's not and just leads to more fat. But still they claim that this maintenance amount is same for both steroid and non-steroid users. Idk for certain these are just guesses.

Each person will have slightly different calorie needs, but for me personally, 6'1 185 lbs, I only need about 2200 calories to stay at same weight. I've been eating this amount for about 2 months. Scale says same thing each day. When building muscle I will go no higher than 2700.

Are you for real? I'm 5'5 and about 135 pounds and I eat 2300 calories per day and track it using My Fitness Pal. I pretty much stay the same weight for three years now. Are you not walking around etc?
